Below is a step by step guide of how to invite a concierge to the system.
The first step involves inputting the email address of the concierge, a short message to the concierge and finally, when you would like to make your restaurant available to them for reservations with a particular reward.

There is only a need to input the email address, a new concierge is then invited to complete a registration form with the remainder of their details before they can place any reservations with you. The second step requires you to define the availability of the restaurant to the concierge additionally the weight that is placed on each booking (weighted on either a “per cover” or “per booking” scale).
Example 1:
“Date Range = Always, Frequency = Monday to Sunday, Time Range = Always”, this arrangement of settings will apply the same weight to all bookings placed by the concierge. This could be considered a “flat rate” arrangement.
Example 2:
“Date Range = 01/01/2008 to 2/12/2008, Frequency = Sunday to Wednesday, Time Range = Always”, this arrangement of settings will allow the concierge to book only on Sunday to Wednesday from January to December 2008.

Once “Finish” is clicked, the new concierge will now be added to the list of concierges. They are now free to place bookings within your restaurant when they please. Should you wish to set-up reward limits for the concierge or PA’s, this can be achieved in the “Rewards” area of the system. An upper limit to notify your restaurant and the concierge can be set-up, this would traditionally be used if you had a minimum pay-out level.
The concierge can then log in through restaurantdiary’s online booking form contained within your website. Or they may log in to the concierge console at restaurantdiary.com. Either way will produce the same result, however, the concierge can only generate reports on bookings and change their settings.
