Internet Explorer Settings

 

Users should enable cookies, JavaScript and add the following sites to their trusted sites in Internet Explorer:-

https://app.restaurantdiary.com

http://www.booktoeat.com

 

Under trusted sites you should set “Custom Level” to:-

 

Automatic prompting for file downloads to “Enable”

File download – “Enable”

Access Data across different domains “Enable”

Pop up blocker “Disable”

 

In all cases IE settings should be as follows:-

 

1.         Cookies should be enabled;

3.         Internet Security level should be “Medium”;

4.         Privacy level should be “Medium”;

5.         JavaScript should be enabled.

 

Also, you should ensure the cache is not full on any machine – please go to:-

 

IE / Tools / Internet Options and delete temporary files, plus, under Advanced settings, you should enable “Empty temporary Internet files folder when browser is closed”.

 

If you are using proprietary tool bars by Google, Yahoo and MSN – please delete these through Add / Remove programmes or at least disable any pop blockers and “phishing” filters.

 

It is not advisable to run “instant” Desktop search programmes from Microsoft, Google, Yahoo and others.

 

 

Please be advised that there are many processes within Vista that are a huge drain on resources as is the instant search facility within Microsoft Outlook 2007.
