While segmenting the restaurant is an option, most restaurants will want to display some menu/deposit information at some point when a booking is taken. There are three options here
Promotions – The customer would select the promotion when booking and this would be indicated on the diary, certain conditions can be placed on the promotion.
Menus – This can be used in two ways -
1. To present the customer with a menu that is for parties of a certain size
2. To attach the menu to a certain promotion that would be unique.
Deposits – Again, this can be used in two ways –
1. To take a deposit from a customer for a certain size party and or date.
2. To take a deposit from a customer when a promotion is selected.
