The Confirmation Screen

 

On the confirmation screen, the booking details are shown in an order enabling staff to read back details to the customer to confirm that they are correct – staff should ensure you have correct name, telephone number and email address.  If a mistake has been made, it is possible to Change Booking Details the booking details, with the customer contact details being kept in memory.

 

Also, on this screen, the staff member may tick “Leave time has been confirmed with guest” to record that an “out by” time has been agreed with the guest – the staff member name is kept with the booking details.

Once everything is OK and by pressing Confirm Booking the system automatically places the booking on the diary page (in blue) and emails confirmation to the restaurant (if switched on in your back office) and the customer in real time.  The diary page is automatically refreshed and opened at the relevant date.
